REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 8 / ABET / AET qualification or NQF Level 2 qualification recognised by SAQA.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organise and follow instructions.
DUTIES
The successful candidate will provide cleaning services in government offices and facilities, including:
- Cleaning offices, corridors, elevators and boardrooms.
- Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing and vacuuming floors.
- Cleaning windows, walls, doors and furniture.
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins.
- Cleaning kitchens and restrooms.
- Replacing toilet paper, hand towels and other supplies.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and reporting damaged equipment.
- Performing other cleaning-related duties as instructed.
